First and foremost, learning history could cultivate cultural identity. This is to say that If more and more people leave history for business studies, our country will face the loss of cultural identity, while history helps people stay connected to their roots and learn to appreciate the contribution of their ancestors. For example, nations have holidays recognizing big historical events and figures. A man who is proud of his or her own native culture can be strong in adversity. If the sense of identity lost, our national identity will be eroded, which in turn makes our country faces cultural crisis.

Moreover, understanding history is more conducive to regional cooperation, promoting countries to participate in more international affairs and enhancing their international status. Mastering more historical knowledge about regions and countries would help us better understand society. For example, learning about world history could help us master the characteristics of different regions. Each place has its own uniqueness.
