It is increasingly serious noise pollution that adversely influences our daily life, so it is quite essential to understand the major causes of this phenomenon and to figure out ways to improve our living environment. 

A number of reasons contribute to the increase of noise pollution. First, industrial niose is one of the factor that affects our living condition. Industry is indispensable for the development of a country, but the noises, such as the sound of running machines, from factories and construction sites indeed greatly disturb citizens’normal lives, distracting people from their work and study and making it impossible for them to have a good rest at night. Moreover, inhabitants are drownin multifarious noises produced by home appliances, involving dust collectors and washing machines. These ubiquitous electronic devices solve the problem of doing housework for some people but cause noise problem for others. 

Obviously, a few measures can be taken to address these issues. The most effective one is that government can enact some rules regulating the working time for workers in factories and on construction sites to ensure that people affected by these noises may have some quiet time to finish their tasks and also to enjoy their sound sleep. Another solution is to take advantage of technology to reduce the side effects of noises. For example, scientists and engineers can work out ways to lower the volume of machines, or government or individuals can make use of noise barriers to minimize the disturbance of noises. 

The problem of increasing noises impacts everyone’s life for a variety of reasons, and some effective actions can be taken to tackle the problem.
