Some people believe that robots are important to humans' future development, while others think that it is a dangerous invention that will impact society negatively. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

一些人认为机器人对人类未来的发展很重要，而另一些人则认为这是一项危险的发明，会对社会产生负面影响。讨论两种观点并给出你的意见。

01 雅思机经 - 题目分析：

本题的核心话题是与机器人相关，且讨论的是机器人对于人类的发展究竟是好处还是坏处。

如果要写好处的话，可以考虑：

1）由机器人去做一些危险的工作，如，悬崖捡垃圾，为传染病人查房送药，等等，可以减少人类暴露在危险中的风险；

2）在人口比较少的或者老龄化比较严重的国家，使用机器人可以缓解社会劳动力的缺少这种情况。

如果要写坏处的话，可以考虑：

1）会使人类越来越懒惰，不愿意出门，不愿意思考，导致人类的生活技能和特质逐渐消失；

2）需要消耗大量的电能，影响到资源的分配和运用；

3）机器人失控，可能会威胁到人类的生命安全。

Because of the gradual use of robots in human society, some people concern that robots will destroy the social order and the civilization of human beings. However, to my point of view, robots bring us large quantities of benefits indeed. 

The most important reason is that the use of robots can prevent human from invloving in risky situations. In fact, numerous works of human are exposed to danger, such as, cleaning up rubbish on cliffs, going the rounds of the wards forinfectious victims, ect. If robots are applied to these situations, human may have the oppotunity to keep away from dangers.

Another reason is that taking advantage of robots can mitigate the crisis of shrinking workforce. As we all know, many countries are facing problems in the aging of population that they have never faced before. The shortage of labours causes the reduction in supply, and then leads to the increase of product prices and costs of production. However, with the help of robots, series of problems will be solved.

Admittedly, robots have some disadvantages, such as, they will consume too much electric power, which will encroach the electric resources of human beings. But the energy used by robots is not confined to electricity; in other words, scientist can produce robots that use wind energy, robot that use solar energy, or robots that use some other undiscovered energy. Therefore, the consumption of electric power used by robots is not a serious problem for future human.

To sum up, robots are benificial to human society in the future, although there may be some adverse effects.
